Alexander came into the picture on a very sunny day. His birth was smooth and his life would remain average for pretty much his whole life. Alex had two older siblings and eventually he would get a younger brother as well. Throughout his childhood his parents were very disconnected from one another. Due to this, as he recalls, he was mostly raised by his older brother and sister.. who were only older than him by a few years. They mostly had to learn about things as they went or from each others mistakes.
He couldn’t really say he had a terrible childhood. Sure there were times where he acted out and had a rough time because he didn’t really have any proper guidence but at the end of the day, he could say he was happy and looking forward to the future. School was another tough place for him but he had plenty of friends and they helped him where needed. Alex wasn’t exactly amazing at any one thing but he was very curious about everything and how things worked.
This would be something that drove him through school and helped him continue to push onwards when others might have quit. When he was 16 his older brother was partnered and despite the bond he felt he shared with his brother, he was quick to move out of the his. It wasn’t long before his sister did the same though she always said sorry when she came to visit. His brother on the other hand pretty much had left them all behind which he did his best not to hold too close to heart but he couldn’t help it at times.
Alex was a very patient and understanding person but when he finally broke down it was a big event and it wasn’t uncommon for his distastes to come to surface. He supposed the phrase, ‘the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree’ was fairly a accurate phrase if he wasn’t careful. Regardless, with some time he was doing well enough on his own and did his best to help his younger brother as he vowed to be better than the eldest.
Eventually he turned 18 and the world closed in on him with it’s icy grip. He took his placements tests and quickly received his job placement. He wasn’t destined to go through more school for some exciting job. He would have a job now. Not just any job though, one that couldn’t possibly have been further from his interests than he thought was possible. With time though he conceded to the system and fell in line. He was forever going to be a house prepareman.
The advancement opportunities were at a bare minimum and he didn’t have a single clue as to how this job worked. On his first day he was assigned a group to a group of four people and was told these guys would be his best mates. A few years down the line, he could attest for that. He grew closer to his workmates than he thought was possible but it might’ve been because they all hated the job.. to some extent. He has yet to be partnered, which is is somewhat grateful for because he has been able to watch over his younger brother and he has found what he believes to be the girl of his dreams… only problem there is that she’s already been partnered… to one of his closet friends.
